Islamabad:- His Excellency Atadjan Movlamov, Ambassador of Turkmenistan and Dean of Diplomatic Corps in Pakistan, and Third Secretary Mr. Eldar Permanov, visited the office of Chancellor University of Islamabad, Professor Dr. Sajid Qamar (CUI) on Tuesday.
Prof. Kamar welcomed the representatives, Dean of Business Administration Faculty of CUI, Professor Dr. Saqib Gulzar and Head of International Office Dr. Hammad Omer to attend the official meeting.
Ambassador Movlamov expressed his interest in working with COMSATS University of Turkmenistan, especially in the field of science and education, giving diplomatic encouragement for efforts to develop bilateral relations with CUI. The Ambassador emphasized the need to facilitate exchange visits, virtual conferences and meetings between the two organizations. Turkmen State Institute of Economy and Management announced that it invites CUI students to participate in the Open International Internet Olympiad on World Economy, which will be held on May 16, 2024. to share invaluable scientific insight and experience.
In addition, Ambassador Movlamov would like to ask for new proposals for scientific and technological cooperation between CUI and Turkmenistan.
Rector of CUI Prof. Dr. Sajid Qamar was excited about the efforts led by the Ambassador. The chancellor confirmed the participation of COMSATS students in the Olympic Games, proposals for scientific and technological cooperation, dissemination of information about scholarships and re-establishing relations with the Turkmenistan State Institute.
