Washington: The US court declared former President Donald Trump ineligible to contest the election.
According to American media, former President Donald Trump was declared ineligible to participate in the 2024 presidential election by a court in the state of Colorado under a provision that prevents people involved in coups from taking office.
President Trump is the first president in US history to be disqualified from running for office. The judgment shall apply only to the State of Colorado. Donald Trump is facing disqualification for his involvement in the Capitol Hill attack.

Trump’s lawyer has called the decision against democracy and said that he will appeal against this decision in the Supreme Court.
