The schedule for the tri-nation series has been announced, with the first match starting at 2:00 PM on February 8th at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. The series will be played from February 8 to 14, featuring Pakistan, New Zealand, and South Africa. The initial two matches will be held at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, while the last league match and the final will take place in Karachi.
On February 8, Pakistan will face New Zealand at Gaddafi Stadium, with the first ball bowled at 2:00 PM. On February 10, New Zealand will play South Africa, with the match starting at 9:30 AM. After these matches, the action will move to Karachi, where Pakistan will play South Africa on February 12 at National Bank Stadium in a day-night match, starting at 2:00 PM. The final of the tri-nation series will be held on Friday, February 14, also starting at 2:00 PM.
Both Pakistan and New Zealand will have their training sessions under lights at Gaddafi Stadium on February 6. South Africa will begin its first training session at the historic ground on the morning of February 9.
The four matches at Gaddafi and National Bank Stadiums will provide the teams with an excellent opportunity to finalize their preparations for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The series will also showcase the newly designed and upgraded stadiums to the world through high-quality broadcasts.
Following the upgrades, the stadiums’ seating capacity has been increased, with new seats installed throughout the venues. Additionally, 480 modern LED lights have been installed to enhance the broadcast quality, ensuring the best viewing experience for global audiences. Two large digital replay screens have also been added to improve the spectator experience. A new hospitality enclosure for players and officials is near completion, ensuring the iconic stadiums offer an exceptional experience for all stakeholders.
Similarly, the National Bank Stadium has seen significant upgrades, including a new hospitality enclosure for players and officials at the University End. To improve broadcast coverage, 350 LED lights have been installed, offering the best view for international viewers. In addition to two digital replay screens, 5,000 new seats have been installed to enhance spectator comfort.
