The Telangana High Court in India has imposed new restrictions on theater shows following an incident during the screening of the movie ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule.’ The court directed the state government and cinema management to prohibit children under the age of 16 from attending films before 11 AM and after 11 PM. This decision comes after a stampede occurred at the Sindhiya Theater during the ‘Pushpa 2’ premiere, resulting in the death of a woman and severe injuries to her son. The court also expressed strong disapproval of the state government’s approval of additional shows and increased ticket prices. Additionally, the state government had already banned theater shows from 1 AM to 8 AM, and stricter regulations will now be enforced for special screenings.
