LAHORE — Consumer electronics manufacturer TCL has introduced its new TCL SaveIN Series air conditioner in Pakistan, presenting an energy-efficient cooling option aimed at helping households and businesses manage rising electricity costs.
The company announced the launch in Lahore on March 5, saying the new product line is designed for consumers facing increasing power tariffs and higher summer energy bills. The series combines automated cooling technology with features intended to reduce electricity consumption during prolonged heatwaves.
According to TCL, the SaveIN Series uses the company’s T-AI Energy Saving chip, which continuously monitors room temperature and adjusts the air conditioner’s performance accordingly. Instead of operating at maximum capacity at all times, the system regulates cooling output based on demand.
The company says the technology can deliver up to 37 percent electricity savings compared with conventional inverter air conditioners.
Built for high temperatures and power fluctuations
The SaveIN Series has been designed to operate under Pakistan’s extreme summer conditions. TCL states that the units can function at ambient temperatures of up to 62°C.
The air conditioners are also built to handle voltage fluctuations, which can affect appliance performance in many areas of the country during peak electricity demand.
Energy control and airflow features
The new models include a three-speed GEN Mode that allows users to adjust power consumption levels manually. This feature can help manage electricity use during peak tariff hours or when operating on alternative power sources.
The series also incorporates Coanda Airflow technology, designed to distribute cool air evenly across the room rather than directing airflow at a single point.
In addition, the SaveIN Extreme model includes built-in Wi-Fi connectivity. Through a mobile application, users can monitor electricity usage, adjust temperature settings and control the air conditioner remotely.
Models, pricing and availability
The TCL SaveIN Series is available in 1-ton, 1.5-ton and 2-ton variants. Consumers can choose between Heat & Cool and Cool Only configurations depending on their needs.
Prices start from Rs118,400, according to the company. Each unit is offered with a 10-year compressor warranty and a five-year warranty on parts.
The new series is available through TCL’s authorized dealers and flagship stores across Pakistan.
