Tabu said that “after the divorce from my mother, my father got married again, I have never met my father but my elder sister Farah Naz has met my father many times”.
“My birth name was Tabsum Fatima Hashmi but I never used ‘Hashmi’ with my name as I was raised by my maternal grandparents,” said the Bollywood actress.
“My father was a well-known name in Pakistani cinema in his time,” he added.
It should be noted that Tabu’s father Jamal Hashmi was a well-known Pakistani actor in the past. Jamal Hashmi married a female teacher named Rizwana in a Muslim family in the Indian city of Hyderabad. After marriage, she moved to Pakistan with her husband Jamal Hashmi.
