T20 World Cup: Mohammad Amir Eyes Harbhajan’s Record

National team fast bowler Mohammad Amir equaled the T20 World Cup record of former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh.

Mohammad Amir is just one step away from going one step further in the match against hosts USA, where he can equal former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh’s record for most runs by a maiden in the history of the mega event.

The fast bowler has returned to the national team after a gap of four years. He was a member of the national team that won the 2009 World Cup.

Amir played against Sri Lanka in 2009, Australia in a group match in 2010 and India in the 2016 T20 World Cup.
