According to Indian media, Sunil Gavaskar did not name Pakistan among the four semifinalists. According to the former captain, India, Australia, England, and West Indies will qualify for the semi-finals.
It is important to note that the ICC T20 World Cup will begin on June 2, where two group matches will be played, the first between the USA and Canada and the second between the West Indies and Papua New Guinea.
Earlier, there were reports of security issues for the Pakistan-India ICC T20 World Cup match in New York.
According to media reports, the news of the terror attack came before the Pakistan-India clash scheduled for June 9, prompting New York authorities to beef up security for the match.
In the T20 World Cup, India will play 4 matches, Pakistan 2 matches and New York 8 matches from 3rd June to 12th June.
The T20 World Cup match between Pakistan and India will be held in New York on June 9.
