The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 will start next month on June 1, but there are concerns about some important records being broken in the mega event.
Here’s a look at some of the hackable records in the next release:
Six!
The record for the most sixes in an ICC T20 World Cup match is held by former Sri Lankan cricketer Mahela Jayawardene, who hit 113 sixes in the shortest format, a record he may surpass in this edition.
India’s Virat Kohli is second on the list with 103 sixes, followed by Rohit Sharma with 91 and David Warner with 86 each.

Most are used in one edition!
With the addition of 20 teams in the current edition, the number of matches played is expected to increase and hopes to break the record for the most in a single edition. This record is currently held by Virat Kohli who scored 319 runs in 6 matches for India in 2014. That record can be challenged this season.
The fastest century!
Chris Gayle’s record for the fastest century in the T20 World Cup, scoring 47 and 50, is under threat. Nepal’s Janak Prasad Lohani recently set a new record by scoring a century in a T20 match, scoring just 33 runs.

Most Catchers as Fielders!
AB de Villiers holds the record as the most caught player in the T20 World Cup with 23 catches in the mega event. He is followed by Rohit Sharma and Glenn Maxwell with 16 wickets each. A field battle can add more excitement to this tournament.
