‘T20 cricket is all about momentum’, says Saim Ayub

Peshawar Zalmi batsman Saim Ayub said on Tuesday that T20 cricket is all about momentum.

Speaking to the media in Lahore, Ayub said, “It is still the beginning of the tournament. We will look forward to not repeating the mistakes we made on the first trip. The opposition is tougher when you make mistakes.”

He acknowledged Quetta Gladiators fringe player Khawaja Mohammad Nafay saying, “Khawaja Nafay is a very talented cricketer. I wish Nafaya all the best.”

“Getting into the runout is part of the game,” he said.

Ayub expressed optimism that Zalmi will continue to play with an aggressive mindset.

Speaking about Zalmi’s upcoming match against Karachi Kings, Ayub said, “More runs were scored in Lahore. We will face the opposition with a positive mindset.”
