Swat Holds Training Workshop for Urea Fertilizer Dealers on New Registration and Tracking System

SWAT: A training workshop for urea fertilizer dealers was held at the Agriculture Department office in Matta on the directives of the Deputy Commissioner Upper Swat.

Assistant Commissioner Matta attended the workshop, where fertilizer dealers were briefed on the Track and Trace System, registration requirements and rules introduced under the new government policy.

Officials explained the new registration policy and the procedures for effective implementation of the Track and Trace System. The system is aimed at improving transparency, accountability and monitoring in the supply and distribution of fertilizer.

The dealers were urged to strictly follow government policies and prescribed regulations to ensure that farmers receive fertilizer in a transparent and timely manner.

The workshop also highlighted the importance of proper monitoring of fertilizer distribution to help improve supply management and support farmers during the agricultural season.
