A man accused of molesting a girl in a bus in Lahore was arrested based on a complaint at the Virtual Women police station. The incident occurred during a bus ride where the suspect allegedly harassed the young girl continuously.
Upon receiving the complaint, the Virtual Women’s Police Station immediately coordinated with local law enforcement agencies.
The female passenger provided the location of the bus and allowed the police to intercept the vehicle at its next stop. The suspect was immediately identified and arrested after the bus arrived.
The police have taken the accused into custody and have initiated legal proceedings. They urged women to report incidents immediately by calling 15 or using the Women Safety app.
