Indian actress Sonam Bajwa, known for her dynamic performances, recently expressed her admiration for Pakistani actor Fawad Khan.
While promoting his upcoming film Kudi Haryane Wal Di, he said that he is a fan of Fawad Khan, who is famous in India with hits like Kapoor & Sons, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Hoobsurat.
In an interview, he spoke candidly about the challenges he faced while working on his latest project. “It’s been more than 10 years since I started acting in movies, but for the first time I have to do dialogues in Haryanvi, a language I don’t know,” he said.
Despite the challenges, Sonam Bajwa says she is excited about the film’s release and growing as an actress.
In a recent interview with Indian media, Kudi Haryana actress Wal Di was asked about her favorite actor. He said, “I always admired Fawad Khan.”
The comment prompted the host to suggest that Fawad could be considered a “Punjabi son-in-law” and he laughed and said, “Don’t say that, he might be embarrassed.”
Kudi Haryane Wal Di tells about a Punjabi boy who falls in love with a Haryanvi girl. The film follows his efforts to win her heart and convince her family to accept their relationship. The role required him to step out of his comfort zone and master a new language while demonstrating his commitment to his craft.
