Justice Ali Bakar Najafi of the Lahore High Court was the latest recipient of the suspicious letter, raising alarms in the legal fraternity.
This letter, which was received by the secretary of Judge Najafi, shows that the number of judicial officers is increasing.
The development came two days after five judges, including the Lahore High Court justice, received a suspicious letter.
Justice Secretary Najafi immediately submitted a suspicious letter to the Anti-Terrorism Department, which launched an investigation. CTD seized the letter for judicial review and investigation.
On April 3, five LHC judges, including the chief justice, received a suspicious letter.

The incident was reported after eight judges of the Islamabad High Court received a suspicious letter containing the powder. The LHC judges who received the letter include Chief Justice Shujaat Ali Khan, Justice Alia Neelam, Justice Shaheed Bilal Hasan and Justice Abid Aziz Sheikh.
Lahore DIG Ali Nasir Rizvi said investigations are underway and other courts are also investigating.
According to the LHC Registry, the letter received by Chief Justice Malik Shahzad Ahmed Khan contained suspicious powdery substance and threatening content.
