Six alleged criminals killed in Rawalpindi police encounters

RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi police killed six alleged criminals in two separate encounters, including the mastermind of the brutal crime against a British-Pakistani national.
The first encounter took place near the race track police station where four bandits identified as Sajid alias Guttu, Hassan, Muhammad Ali alias Babio and Waseem engaged in a fatal confrontation with the police.

These criminals were allegedly part of an inter-provincial gang responsible for various crimes, including a recent robbery that led to the tragic death of Tasir Mehmood, a British-Pakistani national.
The police responded quickly, leading to the elimination of all four suspects. Items found included the deceased victim’s laptop and bag, as well as weapons and police uniforms used in their criminal activities.

A second clash took place in the Morgah police station area when officers on patrol tried to stop four motorcyclists. The suspects, who refused to comply, opened fire on the police. Two attackers, including Ahmed Khan, known for street crime, were killed in the shootout, while the remaining two managed to escape. Ahmed Khan has had a confrontation with the police in the past, he had earlier injured ASI Shoaib in an incident.
