Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Tuesday hoped that a new political party would be formed soon.
Abbasi said in a media interview in Islamabad; “The country needs new leadership. A country where the government cannot make decisions cannot run.”
The onus is on the government to roll back its laws. Both the President and the Prime Minister faced detention by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
“No officer is ready to work because of the fear of NAB,” he added.
“It is up to the president and prime minister to free the country from NAB,” Abbasi said.
