Commenting on the cricket tournament taking place in Karawang, the cricket legend noted the high level of competition and talent. He called Taimur Mirza a promising player, but pointed out the uniqueness of his career, saying, “Taimur Mirza is a good player, but Shahid Afridi can’t be.”
As for his personal relationship with Shaheen Afridi, he said, “I rarely talk about cricket with Shaheen,” praising the Pakistani pacer’s intelligence and attention. “Ulag is very intelligent; told him to focus on cricket,” he said, showing his support and encouragement to the young players.
