The Department of Meteorology has predicted scorching heat in most of the plains of the country.
According to the Meteorological Department, rain is expected in the Gilgit-Baltistan region, Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and north-east Punjab. Islamabad is expected to be hot and dry in the evening with strong winds.
The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in some parts of Kohistan, Swat, Chitral, Abbottabad and Haripur. Most districts of Punjab are expected to experience hot weather with very hot weather in southern districts.
Additionally, rain is expected in Chakwal, Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Sialkot and Narowal. Murree, Galiyat and surrounding areas may experience rain and cloudy weather.
Severe heat is expected in most districts of Balochistan and Sindh. Today, the maximum temperature is expected to reach 51 degrees in Dadu and 50 degrees in Sibi. Additionally, the temperature in Multan, Sahiwal and Bahawalpur is expected to reach 45 degrees Celsius. Lahore can be 46 degrees, Islamabad 41 degrees, Karachi 37 degrees.
