A two-member security delegation arrived in Pakistan before New Zealand traveled to Pakistan
A two-member security team from Cricket New Zealand has arrived in Pakistan to assess the security situation.
The delegation, which also consists of independent security experts and the New Zealand Players Association, will review phase one measures in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, as well as phase two measures for the team’s accommodation and stadium in Lahore.
New Zealand are set to tour Pakistan for five Twenty20 matches in April. According to the proposed schedule, the unit is expected to land in Pakistan on April 14.
According to the schedule, the first T20 between Pakistan and New Zealand will be played on April 18.
