Ankara-based TED University has announced generous scholarships for Pakistani students enrolled in various undergraduate and graduate programs for the Fall 2024 semester.
During the recent Devcom-Pakistan webinar, TED University International Programs staff revealed an exciting opportunity for Pakistani students to pursue higher education in Turkey.
Scholarships ranging from 25% to 100% are awarded based on academic achievement and other merit, eliminating the need for GRE or English proficiency tests.
Oney, who represents the Office of International Programs, emphasized the reputation of TED University in Ankara and was proud of the faculty’s commitment to student success. The university offers a variety of facilities for education, health care and recreation that are free to students.
It offers undergraduate programs in five faculties, including architecture, psychology, mathematics and various engineering disciplines. Meanwhile, undergraduate degrees cover various fields, such as information science, economics, and engineering management.
With a student body of nearly 5,000, TED University maintains a favorable faculty-to-student ratio of 24:1, providing personalized attention and instruction. Students are encouraged to participate in collaborative projects and research initiatives with faculty, enhancing their academic experience.
Hares Munir, president of the International Student Association, expressed deep feelings and praised the university’s supportive environment.
Among Pakistani students, fluency or at least basic knowledge of Turkish is encouraged to facilitate communication with the local population and effectively solve everyday problems.
The announcement was enthusiastically welcomed by Devcom-Pakistan Executive Director Munir Ahmed, who emphasized the deep historical ties between Turkey and Pakistan. Ahmad said, it is important to develop cooperation in various fields such as education.
The exchange program between students from the two countries aims to develop mutual understanding and strengthen bilateral relations, foster a sense of brotherhood and love for Pakistani students in Turkey.
