Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held an important meeting with key ministers of Saudi Arabia at a special session of the World Economic Forum.
He was accompanied by Saudi Arabia’s investment minister, finance minister and industry minister.
During the talks, Saudi Arabia’s investment minister praised Prime Minister Sharif’s proactive approach, calling him the “Prime Minister of Action”.
Expressing confidence in Pakistan’s development mission, Saudi Investment Minister Khalid Al Falih confirmed full support and said, “We know your efficiency and speedy work. Your mission is our mission and we stand with you.”
Highlighting the importance of bilateral relations, Al Falih revealed plans for a delegation of Saudi Arabian investors to explore opportunities in Pakistan, which he said is a priority destination for Saudi Arabian investment.
The Chief Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia also emphasized Saudi Arabia’s commitment to boost economic prospects in Pakistan and promised cooperation in key sectors such as agriculture, IT and energy.
Unrelenting support for Pakistan’s economic development
Saudi Arabia’s Finance Minister said that Saudi Arabia does not hesitate to support Pakistan’s economic development, saying the reforms implemented are in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
The Minister of Industry of Saudi Arabia expressed great interest in developing cooperation in various fields and pointed out that bilateral relations are a promising area.
