Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud and members of Saudi Arabia’s high-level delegation, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, on Tuesday pledged to strengthen relations between the two countries in the multilateral sector.
The delegation of Saudi Arabia congratulated President Zardari on his second term as President of Pakistan and informed the President about investment plans in Pakistan. President Zardari assured KSA full support to the Saudi delegation led by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Both sides agreed to develop trade relations in the future.
Saudi Foreign Minister said that Saudi Arabia attaches importance to relations with Pakistan.
Both sides discussed the situation in the region and recent events in the Middle East were discussed in the meeting.
The delegations of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia called for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire and an end to Israeli atrocities in Gaza.
Both sides discussed important bilateral issues and issues facing Muslims.
Shehbaz Sharif expressed gratitude to the Saudi leadership for Pakistan’s investment interests

A high-level Saudi delegation led by Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud is in Islamabad to hold a meeting with Pakistani leaders to promote bilateral cooperation in various sectors.
The visit is aimed at developing bilateral cooperation and giving positive impetus to mutually beneficial economic cooperation.
The delegation consisted of the Minister of Water and Agriculture of Saudi Arabia, the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, the Deputy Minister of Investment, the Chairman of the Saudi Special Committee and senior officials of the Ministry of Energy and Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia.
The visit was made to accelerate the agreement between Prime Minister Mohammed Shehbaz Sharif and the Crown Prince and Saudi Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman on the development of bilateral economic cooperation in Mecca.
