The 2016 Bollywood romantic drama Sanam Teri Kasam has regained popularity following its re-release. As a result, the filmmakers have officially announced its sequel.

The lead pair, Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane, has once again captivated audiences, leaving fans eagerly awaiting updates on Sanam Teri Kasam 2.

In a recent interview, directors Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru revealed that the story was originally written in two parts. They confirmed that the sequel’s script is already complete, with a planned release date set for Valentine’s Day 2026.

Addressing the emotional final scene of the first film—where Inder stands near the tree, and Saru’s voice echoes—the directors explained that this moment was intentionally crafted to set the stage for the sequel.

Additionally, they shared that most of the songs for the sequel are already prepared. Given the overwhelming response from fans, the official launch of Sanam Teri Kasam 2 will take place soon.
