Sachin Tendulkar’s security guard commits suicide

Security member Sachin Tendulkar reportedly committed suicide.

“Hindustan Times” reports that a police investigation is underway to ascertain his whereabouts.

State Reserve Police Force jawan Prakash Kapde, who was assigned to protect the famous former cricketer and Bharat Ratna awardee Sachin Tendulkar, allegedly committed suicide in Jamner.

Hindustan Times reported that Kapde shot himself in the neck using his service weapon while visiting his hometown.

According to Jamner Superintendent of Police Kiran Shinde, the incident took place at 1:30 am.

The cause of the incident remains unknown at this time and an investigation is underway to determine the motive for his actions. Body has been sent for postmortem examination.

Shinde said they are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the suicide.
