According to media reports, there have been rumors of a potential changing of the guard, with Hardik Pandya stepping into the limelight after leading Mumbai Indians. However, BCCI secretary Jay Shah silenced these whispers and expressed unwavering confidence in Rohit’s leadership.

At a recent event, Shah not only announced the captain but declared, “India will win the T20 World Cup under the leadership of Rohit Sharma.”
The T20 World Cup is scheduled to begin on June 1, 2024.
