Robot that Catches Fleeing Criminals

In today’s modern world, robots are no longer just a part of science fiction. From manufacturing and healthcare to transportation and education, robots are rapidly becoming an essential part of our daily lives.

Recently, China introduced an AI-powered revolutionary spherical police robot capable of autonomous operation. The RT-G robot, developed by a robotic company called ‘Logon Technology,’ is designed differently from Western models, which are typically used for surveillance. This Chinese robot is specifically built to chase and capture suspects.

Footage shows the RT-G robots patrolling city streets, monitoring for criminal activities. These advanced robots are designed to operate in high-risk environments and assist or even replace human officers in crime-related situations.

The official account of Chengdu City posted on Instagram, highlighting the robot’s capabilities, stating that it can chase criminals, throw nets, and even stabilize itself when falling from heights. The robot can move at speeds of 35 kilometers per hour.
