Ingredients:
- 5 Pita breads
- Shredded lettuce as needed
- 1 cup Hummus
Chicken Ingredients:
- 300g boneless chicken breast
- 2 teaspoons Tahini paste
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 4 chopped garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons yogurt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons parsley
- 1 teaspoon black pepper (crushed)
- 1 teaspoon white cumin
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder (crushed)
Tabbouleh Salad Ingredients:
- ½ cup diced tomatoes
- ½ cup diced cucumber
- 1 cup parsley
- 1½ cups finely chopped green onions
- 1 garlic clove (chopped)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoons lemon juice
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions:
- Cut the chicken into small pieces and place them in a bowl. Add the remaining chicken ingredients and marinate for an hour.
- Cook the chicken in a frying pan or bake in the oven.
- Mix the tabbouleh salad ingredients in a bowl.
- Grill the pita breads and cut them in half.
- Fill each pita with cooked chicken, shredded lettuce, hummus, and tabbouleh salad. Serve and enjoy!
