Riphah International University’s delegation received a warm welcome during their visit to IMU University in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The team, including Prof. Dr. Yawar Hayat (DVC Academics), Prof. Dr. Gen (R) Azhar Rashid (Dean FHMS), Prof. Dr. Rehan Ahmed Khan (Dean RIA), and Prof. Dr. Rahila Yasmin (Dean RARE), met with IMU’s leadership, including Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Asma Ismael, Group Managing Director Prof. Gerry George, and Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Er Hui Meng. The visit focused on discussions about the upcoming Joint IMEC-ICME Hybrid Conference 2025, and a special token of appreciation was given to Prof. Dr. Asma Ismael. The delegation also visited the Pakistan High Commission in Kuala Lumpur, where Deputy Ambassador Rajeel Mohsin and his team assured full support for the IMEC-ICME 2025 conference. The trip coincided with the start of IMEC 2024 at IMU’s Bukit Jalil campus, where Riphah International University’s booth became a focal point for delegates, sharing details about the IMEC-ICME 2025 and distributing souvenirs. The opening ceremony showcased Malaysia’s rich culture, with engaging plenaries, symposiums, and discussions, including a session chaired by Prof. Dr. Rehan Ahmed Khan on the integration of One Health in medical education.
