GUJRANWALA: Riphah International University, Gujranwala Campus, was visited and reviewed to assess its academic infrastructure, laboratories, library, classrooms and other supporting facilities.
During the visit, the importance of following Higher Education Commission (HEC) rules, standards and prescribed requirements was highlighted to ensure quality, credibility and sustainable growth in the higher education sector.
The need for modern and well-equipped laboratories was also stressed, along with practical learning linked to industry needs. The importance of highly qualified faculty, particularly PhD-qualified academics with strong research skills, was emphasised to strengthen teaching, research and innovation.
Universities play an important role in developing skilled human resources and supporting Pakistan’s socio-economic development and economic growth, it was observed.
The visit also highlighted the importance of quality education, strong academic standards, research-focused faculty, modern infrastructure and regulatory compliance in strengthening Pakistan’s higher education system.
