Actress Rashmika Mandanna is all set to work with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. Mandanna, who is mainly known for her work in South Indian cinema, will share the screen with Salman in his upcoming film Sikandar.
Expressing her gratitude for the new initiative, the Pushpa star re-shared the announcement and wrote, ‘guys, you have been asking for the next update for a long time and here it is..urSurprise!! # #I am truly grateful and proud to be a part of Sikandar. ”
Directed by AR Murugadoss of Ghajini and Bayram fame, ‘A Soldier Is Never Off Duty’ will be produced by Sajid Nadidawala. The film, which stars Salman as Sikandar, will release on Eid 2025.
In April this year, on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, the Kick star took to social media with a caption saying, ‘Salman Khan is inside and like Sikandar’.
If reports are to be believed, the film will begin shooting in May and will be shot in India and Europe. Ace music composer Pritam will compose the music for the film.
This film marks the coming together of Salman and Sajid Nadiadwala. Together, the duo delivered super hits like Kick, Judwaa and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. Sajid’s film will be listed under Nadiadwala’s entertainment banner.
On the work front, Mandanna was last seen in Sandeep Reddy’s Monster Vanga. She played the role of Ranbir Kapoor’s character’s wife Geetanjali in the controversial film. Released on December 1, 2023, the film was a success at the box office.
