ISLAMABAD: Temperatures may drop further in the country as the Met Office has forecast rain with snow for the western and upper mountainous regions of the country on Monday.
During the next twelve hours, mainly cold and partly cloudy weather is expected in most of the country, according to the gathered office.
However, rain wind/thunderstorm (snowfall over hills) is expected over Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, South Punjab, Potohar region, Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas.
Hail is also expected in several places during the period. Isolated heavy rainfall is also expected over North and Southwest Balochistan during the forecast period.
Rain expected in Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mianwali, Sargodha and Khushab
There is a possibility of rain and snowfall in Murree, Galiat and surrounding areas, according to the gathering office.
Rain is also expected in Sindh areas of Jamshoro, Karachi, Dadu, Nowshar, Feroze and Larkana
