Punjab’s government schools announce bi-weekly holidays

The Punjab government has announced a two-week holiday in government schools. Government schools in Punjab will also remain closed on weekends.

Education Minister Rana Mashood announced a week-long holiday and said the day would be set aside for teacher training. Rana Mashood said government school teachers are facing heavy workload and efforts are being made to reduce the workload.

Punjab Education Minister announced that educational activities will be held in Punjab government schools from Monday to Sunday and the school term will be extended. Today will be set aside for teacher training.
