LAHORE: Director General Punjab WASA Tayyab Farid chaired a high-level meeting at the WASA Head Office to finalise the financial framework for the fiscal year 2026-27.
The meeting was attended by Additional Directors General, Directors and consultants, while Managing Directors of WASA Gujranwala, WASA Rawalpindi and WASA Multan also participated.
The participants reviewed key financial matters and discussed measures to strengthen the financial position of WASA agencies across Punjab.
The meeting focused on optimising expenditures, identifying new sources of non-tax revenue and improving overall revenue recovery.
Officials discussed ways to ensure more efficient use of available resources while strengthening revenue collection and financial management.
The meeting aimed to support long-term financial sustainability across WASA agencies and provide a stronger financial foundation for the delivery and improvement of water supply, sanitation and drainage services in Punjab.
