LAHORE, September 15, 2026: The Punjab Sahulat Bazaars Authority (PSBA) has signed an agreement with WWF-Pakistan under its Green Office Programme to promote environmentally responsible practices and resource efficiency across its operations.
The agreement was signed at the PSBA headquarters on September 14 during a visit by WWF-Pakistan Director General Hammad Naqi Khan. He was welcomed by PSBA Director General Naveed Rafaqat Ahmad along with their respective teams.
The initiative has been taken under the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and the direction of PSBA Chairperson Muhammad Afzal Khokhar, MNA.
Through the Green Office Programme, PSBA aims to strengthen environmental practices at its workplaces, with a focus on efficient use of energy and resources, reducing waste, saving paper and promoting responsible workplace practices.
The partnership is also expected to support PSBA’s efforts to make its operations more environmentally friendly and contribute to Punjab’s wider green development goals.
Green office practices can help organisations reduce waste and resource use while encouraging employees to adopt more responsible environmental habits.
The agreement reflects a broader effort to bring sustainability into everyday institutional operations and promote greener practices across public-sector organisations.
PSBA said its goal is to build greener offices and more responsible operations while supporting the development of sustainable Sahulat Bazaars and a cleaner, greener Punjab.
