Punjab Green Credit Programme Sees Sharp Rise in Citizen Participation

LAHORE: Citizen participation in the CM Punjab Green Credit Programme has increased significantly over a three-month period, with the number of registered citizens rising from 3,423 to 17,687.

According to the programme data, reported green actions also increased from 281 to 1,652 during the same period.

The latest figures mean that more than 17,000 citizens are now registered with the programme, while over 1,600 green actions have been reported.

The Green Credit Programme aims to encourage citizens to take practical environmental actions and contribute to a cleaner and greener Punjab.

The increase in registrations and reported activities reflects growing participation in the programme and greater public engagement with environmentally responsible practices.
