PTI wants to pressurise judiciary: Tariq Fazal Chaudhry

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said on Thursday that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) wants to pressure the judiciary following the Islamabad High Court (IHC) judge’s letter.

Expressing his opinion, Chaudhry said, “Putting pressure on any judiciary is highly condemned. Through its continuous action, PTI continues to put pressure on the judiciary.”

“A certain political party has spread negativity about Tassaduq Hussain Jillani,” said Chaudhry, referring to the former Chief Justice of Pakistan Tassaduq Hussain Jillani.

– ECP postpones Senate elections in KP according to the constitution –

Separately, senior PML-N leader Amir Muqam said the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) postponed the Senate elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by the constitution.

Expressing his opinion, Muqam said: “The Constitution was violated in KP. The province was deprived of the Senate elections.”

“I don’t know which law is in KP,” said Muqam.
