The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) government yesterday lifted the permission for the protest – e-Insaf (PTI) announced that a protest was held in Islamabad amid political tension, leading to security measures being taken in both cities. All roads have been closed. PTI leader Azam Swati said that PTI will now hold a public protest on September 8. Khan will return home.
The ICT authorities also issued a no-show certificate in the name of PTI leader Aami Mughal for the public protest on September 8.
