Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal said on Tuesday that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder was bearing the brunt of his “incompetence”.
Iqbal said, “It is not fair to say that PTI has majority. We have a two-thirds majority.”
Recalling the overthrow of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif, he said, “Nawaz Sharif was overthrown in an artificial manner.”
Iqbal said, “Hopefully there will be no political confrontation.”
Talking about the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Ali Amin Gandapur, Iqbal said, “It is a positive development that the Chief Minister of KP has come to meet the Prime Minister. What Ali Amin Gandapur said was a ray of hope.
Recalling the previous tenure of PML-N, he said, “From 2013 to 2018, the country witnessed development.
Iqbal emphasized the need to achieve political stability in the country. “When we did Vision 2010, no one had such a plan.”
“Bangladesh and India outplayed us today,” he lamented.
He admitted that the country was facing serious economic difficulties.

A few days ago, Iqbal fired a new game on PTI.
Talking to the media, Iqbal said, “PTI is damaging the country all over the world. The United States and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) cannot provide NROs to PTI founders.”
He said, “We [PML-N] have never created a ruckus in international forums regarding fake cases. We faced false cases and our leaders were threatened with jail.”
Iqbal asked the PTI founder to prove his innocence in court. “PTI is damaging the reputation of the country.
“We have never written a letter to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) or the European Union (EU), despite PML-N’s reservations about the 2018 general elections,” Iqbal said.
Recalling the events that happened on May 9, she lamented, “Military facilities were attacked on May 9.
