Although entire country is going through financial crises and countrymen going through critical times. But the people of some provinces are affected more than other. Despite the financial issues, the Punjab government has taken a number of steps to facilitate its people.
Recently the Punjab government has announced to provide TPA injection free of cost. The injection highly reduces the effects of stroke and it will be available free of cost round the close for new stroke patients in 15 government hospitals.
In case of unexpected stroke attack which paralyzes half or a partial part of the body, the patient can be shifted to nearest hospital within 4 to 5 hours and given the injection.
Provision of TPA injection to the patient within 4 to 5 hours of the attack can be save him/her from lifelong disability.
The hospitals which will provide TPA injection to the stroke attack patients include:

3. Punjab Institute of Neurosciences Lahore
4. Sir Ganga Ram Hospital Lahore
5. Jinnah Hospital Lahore
6. Allied Hospital Faisalabad
7. Aziz Fatima Hospital Faisalabad
8. Nishtar Hospital Multan
9. Allama Iqbal Memorial Teaching Hospital Sialkot
10. Sheikh Zayed Hospital Rahim Yar Khan
11. Holy Family Hospital Rawalpindi
12. DHQ Hospital Gujranwala
13. DHQ Hospital Sheikhupura
14. DHQ Hospital Kasur
15. DHQ Hospital Narowal
16. Victoria Hospital Bahawalpur
Other provinces also need to follow the pattern of Punjab government in providing basic facilities, especially healthcare facilities of their people.
