The CEO/Secretary of the District Registering Authority/District Education Authority (DEA) Lahore has mandated that leading private schools in Lahore provide transportation for at least 50% of their students by October 1, 2024, in compliance with a Lahore High Court order. Schools that fail to meet this requirement will face strict penalties. The schools must also ensure that buses are well-maintained, drivers are qualified, and safety protocols are followed. Compliance with these directives is necessary for the schools’ registration or extension. Similar directives will be issued to private schools in other districts of Punjab.
