President Asif Ali Zardari on Sunday reiterated his commitment to the development and prosperity of the country.
Addressing a public meeting at Garhi Huda Bagh on the 45th birthday of former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, President Zardari said: “Today, Benazir Bhutto spoke in history. Benazir Bhutto, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, and others received martyrdom.”
Higher powers give the country all kinds of wealth,” he said.
“The only thing we don’t do is use our minds,” he said.

Meanwhile, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari said all politicians should observe the “rules of engagement”.
“Today we are commemorating the 45th birthday of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto,” Bhutto-Zardari said while addressing a gathering to mark former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s 45th birthday.
Praising Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, he said, “Zulfikar Ali Bhutto gave Pakistan its constitution, gave power to the people by voting, made the country a nuclear power”.
Two prime ministers are elected, the chairman of the Senate is elected.” Even now some forces do not believe in democracy and President Asif Zardari has not succeeded in any conspiracy.”
