LAHORE – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced pre-booking of tickets for HBL PSL [Pakistan Super League] Season 9.
According to the PCB, pre-booking of tickets for the 9th edition of the Pakistan Super League will begin on the evening of February 6 [Tuesday] at 5 o’clock.
HBL PSL 9 is scheduled to start on February 17 at the PCB headquarters in Lahore.
According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the marquee will be played in four cities – Karachi, Lahore, Multan and Rawalpindi, with the final of the six-team tournament taking place at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi on March 18.
The opening match pits two-time winners and defending champions Lahore Qalandars against 2016 and 2018 winners Islamabad United.
Over the course of the 34-match T20 tournament, Karachi will host 11 matches, including qualifiers, two eliminators and the final. Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium and Rawalpindi’s Pindi Cricket Stadium will host nine matches each, while Multan will witness five matches.

The highly anticipated clash between Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings is scheduled for 24th February and 9th March. Gaddafi Stadium will host the clash on 24 February, while the National Bank Stadium will host the showdown on 9 March.
Kings, Qalandars, Sultans and United will play five matches at their home ground. Peshawar Zalmi will play four matches at the Pindi Cricket Stadium and Quetta Gladiators are scheduled to play three matches each in Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi, with an additional match at the Multan Cricket Stadium against the home Sultans on February 25.
Similar to the previous edition, the upcoming ninth edition of HBL PSL will unfold in two stages. The Multan Cricket Stadium and the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will jointly host 14 matches from February 17 to 27. Subsequently, the cricket action will shift to Rawalpindi’s Pindi Cricket Stadium and Karachi’s National Bank Stadium for 16 matches from February 28 to March 12.
