Peshawar High Court (PHC) Chief Justice Kazi Muhammad Ibrahim wrote a letter to Chief Justice of Pakistan Kazi Faez Isa on Wednesday.
According to the details, the PHC CJ complained that SC judges were not “protected” as appointed. “I chose this letter with a heavy heart. DK had four vacancies.”

Separately, Lahore High Court Chief Justice Malik Shahzad Ahmed Khan is the latest recipient of a threatening letter, raising concerns over the safety of judicial officials.
According to Lahore High Court registry, the letter received by Adalat Chief Justice Malik Shahzad Ahmed Khan contained suspicious powder and threatening content.
This came after four judges of the Lahore High Court namely Justice Shujaat Ali, Justice Shaheed Bilal, Justice Alia Neelam and Justice Abid Aziz received similar threatening letters today.
In response to this threat, judicial officials along with Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) officers and police officers were sent to the Lahore High Court for a thorough investigation.
Initial reports indicate that the powder contained in the letter sent to the judge may be ants, but the exact nature of the substance will only be confirmed after laboratory analysis.
The safety and security of court personnel is a top priority, and the authorities are taking all necessary measures to ensure protection in relation to the incident.
