Payoneer held its fifth XBorder Excellence Awards in Karachi on November 28, 2025, bringing together exporters, digital entrepreneurs, creators, and small businesses from across Pakistan. The event, attended by more than 100 participants, aimed to acknowledge individuals and companies contributing to the country’s growing digital and services export sector.

Attendees included representatives from software companies, gaming studios, eCommerce sellers, direct-to-consumer brands, B2B service providers, digital marketing firms, and the freelance community. The awards covered categories aligned with Pakistan’s expanding digital export footprint.
Winners recognized across gaming, marketing, software, and freelance categories
Guava Slice Games received recognition in the gaming export category, while KSM Media Hut was acknowledged for digital marketing services. LAAM was recognized for its role in the D2C segment, and Wanological Solutions was awarded in the software and technology services category.
Freelancer awards went to Zaid Tariq and Shazia Shah, while EyeSmarty received the eCommerce Seller of the Year award. Hopetex was recognized as the Prime CSP Partner.
Discussions focus on export readiness, checkout systems, and digital payments
Speakers at Payoneer event discussed developments influencing Pakistan’s export and online business landscape. Participants noted that checkout processes are becoming more important for conversion and buyer confidence, and that export-focused small businesses are prioritizing early global readiness, including entity formation and cross-border payment planning.
Industry voices also highlighted the need for coordinated efforts between fintech companies, banks, and businesses to support compliance, payments, and operational growth.
Panels and keynotes address digital commerce and cross-border market opportunities
A panel discussion titled “Reinventing Checkout for Pakistan” featured Asfandyar Farrukh (Chainstore Association of Pakistan), M. Salik Gadit (J.), and Arsal Ali (Laam), who shared observations on evolving retail and eCommerce trends.
Keynotes included a talk by M. Harris Saeed Khan of JazzCash on digital payments and entrepreneurship, and another by Ahmed Rauf Essa of Telemart on emerging opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises in global markets.
Event closes with focus on Pakistan’s future in global digital commerce
The gathering hosted by Payoneer ended with networking sessions and further discussions on Pakistan’s position in international digital trade. The XBorder Excellence Awards continue to serve as an annual platform for acknowledging contributors to the country’s export and services sectors.
