Indian Music Director

Mumbai: Bollywood music director Lalit Pandit has revealed that Pakistani songs have been stolen and included in the super movie Aashiqui.

Lalit Pandit, who is part of the famous music composer Jatin-Lalit, who has created masterpieces for many Bollywood films, has revealed that the songs that made the superhit film Aashiqui in the 1990s were actually stolen from Pakistani songs.

Lalit Pandit alleged that Nadeem-Shrawa, the famous composers of Aashiqui, not only copied Pakistani songs but also changed the lyrics. He said this is a known fact in the film industry.

He also said that Indian music director Nadeem went to Dubai and bought many tapes of Pakistani songs. After returning to India, Nadeem-Shravan produced these songs and this experience was not hidden from anyone. They used Pakistani songs and their lyrics and became famous based on these songs.

Lalit Pandit has admitted that he has also used parts of English songs in Bollywood songs. However, he said Jati is a pure composer and the music he composed is his original work.
