Karachi: Pakistani filmmaker Khalid Hasan Khan’s short film ‘Time Sentence’ will be sent to science fiction festivals.
The short-lived film under the Outfield Productions banner is a sci-fi courtroom drama set in the distant future, where a time-travelling accused goes on trial before a judge powered by artificial intelligence.
State lawyer Dayajit Singh tells the accused Haroon that this court is created by artificial intelligence and the machine judge pronounces his verdict on the first hearing.

The cast of the film includes Shamim Shirazi, Dara Shikoh Hashmi, Syed Muaz Shah, Muhammad Ali Sheikh and Talal Farhat.
The film is written by renowned poet Zulfiqar Adil while the film is produced and directed by Khalid Hasan Khan who has won more than 24 awards from the international film circuit for his various fiction and non-fiction projects.
