Pakistan sends fire brigade to Afghanistan to combat blaze at Wesh market

A heavy fire broke out in the Wesh market adjacent to the Pak-Afghan border at the Chaman Friendship Gate. In response, the Government of Pakistan and the Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan (North) took immediate action to help control the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby populated areas.

FC Balochistan coordinated efforts to send all available firefighting vehicles from Chaman to Afghanistan. Firefighting operations are continuing and crews are working to bring the fire under control.

This cross-border assistance demonstrates Pakistan’s commitment to being a helpful neighbor during emergencies.
