Pakistan Deaf Cricket Team win DICC T20 World Cup 2024

The Zaka Ahmed Qureshi-led Pakistan Deaf Cricket Team were crowned champions of the Deaf International Cricket Council (DICC) T20 World Cup 2024 held at the Cricket Vision Centre, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates from March 6-12.

A total of six countries including Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, South Africa and Australia participated in the fourth edition of the DICC T20 World Cup. Pakistan Deaf Cricket Team remained unbeaten in the tournament.

Pakistan Deaf Cricket Team convincingly defeated Sri Lanka in the final of the tournament by 100 runs. After posting a total of 162 runs on the board, Pakistan deaf cricket team bowlers bowled out Sri Lanka for just 62 in 16 overs.
