The Foreign Ministry spokesperson issued a statement on the official visit of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to Pakistan at the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
During his visit from July 11 to 12, President Aliyev received a warm welcome from Prime Minister Sharif in Islamabad, the Foreign Ministry pointed out.
President Aliyev met President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif where they discussed various areas of common interest and bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.
