Oxford University Press is pleased to announce the official launch of OxfordAQA, one of Pakistan’s leading international examination boards, with an educational event that was held at the Serena Hotel in Islamabad and attended by high-level educators, including school heads. The same has been launched successfully in Lahore and Karachi in the past. This growth reflects a crucial milestone in OxfordAQA’s commitment to give high-quality, internationally recognized tests to students all throughout the world.
With a rich history of producing certifications that bring out the best in every learner, OxfordAQA is entering the Pakistani education landscape with the purpose of improving the learning experience for both students and instructors. The examination board is renowned for its commitment, fair evaluations, and stringent requirements.
In his speech at the function, Oxford University Press’s managing director, Arshad Saeed Husain, gave an explanation of why people are so enthusiastic about these credentials, saying that “the launch of OxfordAQA in Pakistan is a watershed moment for the education sector.” Our students benefit from a wealth of information and experience thanks to this partnership between Oxford University Press and AQA, the largest academic credential provider in the UK. It also equips them with skills that will enable them to compete on a global scale in the future. For all students who value fairness, openness, and excellence in their education, OxfordAQA is the solution. OxfordAQA’s ability to help our students succeed internationally excites us much, and we anticipate positive changes to our educational environment as a result.”
As Andrew Coombe, Managing Director of OxfordAQA, noted and clarified, the organization places a great emphasis on innovative teaching techniques and uses cutting-edge educational technologies to improve the learning experience: “OxfordAQA offers a diverse range of subjects to cater to the varied interests and academic pursuits of students in Pakistan.” The credentials offered by OxfordAQA, which span the humanities and sciences, are designed to encourage the all-encompassing growth of knowledge and abilities.
Thanks to qualifications that are now widely accepted by universities, employers, and other educational institutions worldwide, Pakistani students have more chances both at home and abroad. Our goal is to equip students with the knowledge and abilities needed to thrive in a world that is changing swiftly.”
Speaking at the event was Jamie Kirkaldy, Head of Teaching and Learning Support at OxfordAQA, who underlined the company’s commitment to equity and justice in credentials. He said, “A fair playing field for academic performance is created by the OxfordAQA examination board, which guarantees that exams are available to all students, regardless of background or circumstances. Why should students who reside outside of the UK and speak English as a second language be at a disadvantage while taking international exams? OxfordAQA gives every student the finest opportunity to showcase their strengths by only evaluating academic ability—not language or cultural understanding.
OxfordAQA also provides instructors with ongoing, top-notch professional development opportunities to enhance their instructional strategies and stay current with emerging trends in education. This dedication to continuous development encompasses the whole educational ecosystem.
The initial events’ attendees agreed that OxfordAQA offered educators and students a great opportunity, and they valued the chance to discuss the future of education with representatives from Oxford University Press and OxfordAQA.
